Camp Seven Rivers Servant Team Job Description
Reports to Camp Seven Rivers Servant Team Coordinator
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:00
pm M-F
Pay: Volunteer
Position
Position Summary
The Servant Team is a group of 10 students who have chosen
to give up five weeks this summer to serve children. They
will be responsible for supporting Camp Counselors and Camp
Staff by assisting with set up, transitions, snacks, games,
working in crews and serving where there is a need. The
Servant Team is mentored by Camp Seven Rivers staff and will
be given the opportunity to learn and grow during their time
at camp giving them preparation to become a Junior
Counselor. The Servant Team will have field trips as a team
and will learn what it means to give their lives away to
serve others.
Background Requirements and Qualifications

You demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus.

You regularly attend worship services and are involved
in a local church.

You must be a rising 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade
student.

You have the ability to work independently and know when
to ask for assistance.

You serve as a good role model for children.

Perseverance is part of your DNA; you are
self-motivated, and your attitude is positive.

Your goal for the summer is to grow, be mentored, serve
others and do hard things.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Senior Camp Counselors and Camp Directors with
all camp activities.

Assist with the supervision of Campers.

Observe all rules and regulations established for Camp
Seven Rivers.

Get to know each camper by name, including their likes
and dislikes.

Seek advice when needed.

Seek out critique
