"They will rebuild...and restore...they will renew the
ruined cities..."
Isaiah 62:4
Christ has called us to be actively involved in Kingdom work
by helping those in need. The Disaster Response Ministry
is a practical way that Seven Rivers is seeking to do this.
The
Disaster Response Ministry has created two Disaster Response Trailers
that are ready at a moments notice to aid in the event of a
disaster. Trailers are equipped with chainsaws, tool
and items necessary in clean up after disasters such as the
recent hurricanes in Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.
The following skills would be helpful as part of the
Disaster Response Team, but not necessary:
-
Organization
-
Computer
-
General Contracting
-
Construction
-
"Handyman"
-
Counseling
-
Many more..
To become of member of the team, or for further information,

"If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and
satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise
in the darkness, and your night will become like the
noonday." Isaiah 58:10
