Beach
Life is a journey full of choices.
And everyone is going somewhere. Some take an easy path, the
others a road less traveled. One leads to destruction, the
other to life. Which way are you going?
What
This summer we’re doing Life @ the Beach! Join us in Daytona
for this new and unique experience! We’ll spend the week
building relationships and being encouraged and challenged
in how we live this journey we call life!
You’ll experience a week filled with great teaching and
worship, family time as we cook and eat together, fun on the
beach, and opportunities to put into action the challenges
you’ll be given.
Space is limited (70 spots), so get your registration and
deposit in early! This is a week you won’t want to miss, so
come be a part!
Who
Rising 9th graders-graduates (students in grades 8-12
during
the 07/08 school year)
Where
We're staying at the Ocean Shore Resort in Daytona Beach.
What To Bring
Please limit your luggage to one big
bag and one backpack. Bring breakfast foods for the week
(granola bars, pop tarts, etc.), a Bible, pen, notebook,
sunscreen, one piece bathing suit or tankini with board
shorts for the girls. Please bring enough spending money for
two dinners (one fast food and one sit-down meal; $25-30).
Also, spending money if you’d like to purchase a t-shirt, cd,
etc. Please leave valuables such as special jewelry,
watches, etc. at home. (We cannot be responsible for
lost/stolen spending money.)
What NOT To Bring
Computers, cell phones, IPods, magazines, alcohol, drugs,
fireworks, candles, tobacco products, immodest clothing or
clothing with questionable content.
Departure & Return
Be ready to go at Seven Rivers on Monday, July 7 at 8:00
a.m. We'll return to Seven Rivers on Friday, July 11 around
3:00 p.m.
Speaker:
Louie Giglio
Louie Giglio is a gifted speaker, known for having an
uncanny ability to connect directly to people’s hearts with
the message of Christ. Louie now heads Passion Conferences.
Passion is another ministry with the aim to inspire a
burning passion for Christ in the hearts of young adults.
Louie’s ministry is based on Isaiah 26:8, focusing on
spreading the renown of Christ.

Worship Leader:
Chris Tomlin
 Chris
Tomlin is a worship leader and gifted songwriter from Grand
Saline, Texas. He is the lead worshiper at Austin Stone
Community Church and has written a large number of
well-known songs including: How Great Is Our God, Marvelous
Light, and Indescribable. Chris seeks to fuel a passion for
Christ in the lives of students and to help people know
Christ through His Word.
