Band of Brothers
The Men's
Ministry of Seven Rivers exists to help men experience
gospel transformation in the context of an authentic
community. As the gospel penetrates men’s lives it will move
them out in servant leadership in their families, the church
and to those in need.
What Exactly is
Men's Ministry?
There is a pervasive misconception that men’s ministry is
what happens when the men get off by themselves in small
groups or on a retreat. Actually, it is much more helpful to
think of an all-inclusive ministry to men. When men park
cars, lead a youth mission trip, work in disaster relief,
serve at Harvest, serve as ushers and greeters, or attend a
couples small group, it’s all men’s ministry. These are men
ministering and being ministered to through the church.
Dads, would you be interested in receiving a once-a-month
email encouraging you in your role of father and husband?
The newsletter is sent out the second Friday of each month. Email
Helen Reid at the church office to be included.
