What is podcasting?

Podcasting is simply a method of delivering and/or receiving fresh audio content from web sites that offer such content. Users install a Podcast client program on their local computer and then subscribe to Podcast 'feeds' found at web sites offering the content. The Podcast client checks the feeds on a regular basis for new content, and when new content is made available it is downloaded to the user's computer automatically. For example, a user who subscribes to the Seven Rivers podcast will automatically receive the content delivered to there Podcast client anytime we post new content.

Subscribing to podcasts

The simplest way to subscribe to our podcast is via Apples iTunes. iTunes will automatically download new audio sermons as soon as they are available. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Download iTunes here: http://www.itunes.com/download/
2. Install iTunes.
3. Click here: Subscribe with iTunes (you may have to tell your browser it's okay to launch iTunes).
4. Click the podcast icon in the iTunes sidebar to view your subscriptions and check for new downloads.
5. Double-click any file to play.
