Summer Conference
Hunger Week

July 10 - 13, 2011

Our annual Summer Conference is a time each summer of outstanding Bible teaching and fun for the entire family.

Casket EmptyThe Heart of God in the Unfolding Story of the Old Testament
This year's conference will focus on the Old Testament through a tool called CASKET. CASKET is the acronym for the Old Testament, standing for Creation, Abraham, Sinai, Kings, Exile and Temple. Each book of the Old Testament is located in one of the six periods and key events and people are identified for each period.

Read what our Summer Conference speaker, Jay Sklar says about CASKET: "Most Christians know Old Testament stories, but very few know the overarching story that it tells. This is no surprise: it is a huge story, taking place in numerous lands, with different cultures, over thousands of years. How does one get a handle on it? By using CASKET. CASKET makes the big story of the Old Testament clear. It is not only memorable in form, it is also theologically rich and very practical in nature. I have used it in the seminary classroom and in the church and the response is always the same: students walking away with an understanding of the big story of the Old Testament and a deeper love for the Lord of that story."

Special CASKET timelines to assist you with this teaching will be available for purchase in our bookstore.

A nursery is provided for children ages 0-4, along with special kids program for grades K-5.

We hope you'll mark your calendar to join us.
