Summer Conference July 11 - 15

Our annual Summer Conference is a time each summer of outstanding Bible teaching and fun for the entire family. Our speaker this year will teach from the book of Genesis as we explore What We Were Meant For.

A nursery is provided for children age 0-4; kids in grades K-5 will travel the globe in "Oh The Places We Will Go."

We hope you’ll make plans to join us.

  Summer Conference Speaker

We are excited to welcome Rev. Glenn Hoburg as this year's Summer Conference speaker.

Glenn Hoburg is the Senior Pastor at Grace Presbyterian Church (Grace DC) in Washington, DC. Glenn and his wife Meg talked, prayed and envisioned planting a church in the city for some time before coming to DC in July of 2003. Grace DC was born just months after with the purpose of being an inwardly-growing and outwardly-facing community, one that is committed to serving the city of Washington, DC.

Glenn graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston (1984-88) and longed to return to the city. Meanwhile God was equipping and developing this call in various ways through opportunities to serve with Meg on two church staffs (Christ Presbyterian, Nashville, TN and Kirk of the Hills, St. Louis, MO) where they received invaluable mentoring and experience in ministry. Then there was the call to Cambridge/Boston after graduating from Covenant Seminary to begin the ministry of Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Harvard University, where Glenn served as Campus Minister for six years, as well as PCA Chaplain. Part of what drew them to this work was the urban setting and opportunity to be affiliated with Christ the King, PCA, a church plant in Cambridge, where Glenn served as Assistant Pastor.

God has blessed Glenn and Meg with two daughters, Madeline (11) and Isabelle (9), who both enjoy parks, dancing and wrestling their father. Glenn and Meg are both grateful and enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve God and raise their family in Washington, D.C.
