What is MOPS?

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean children from birth through kindergarten.

We are a community of women who meet together to laugh, cry, and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS encourages women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, and to find their identity by journeying along side one another.

As many things in 2020, MOPS at Seven Rivers will look a little different this year. We know the importance of building relationships and being in connection with other moms is needed more than ever as many moms are feeling isolated and overwhelmed. MOPS at Seven Rivers wants to provide safe and meaningful opportunities for moms to continue to connect during these unprecedented times.

How will we do this: We will have play dates once a month where moms with kids of any age can come to be with other moms giving them adult conversation and giving their children the opportunity to play. Once a month, we will also provide an evening MOPS meeting on our campus, where you may hear speakers talking on relevant issues in your life as a mom, we might do something creative, and we will always have fun. Childcare will be offered on a very limited scale.
