What Is Prayer Week?
Prayer Week is an earthquake in the middle of our busy lives that clears the distractions, and for a brief moment re-orients us to reality, the reality that we have been given intimate access to the Sovereign Creator of the Universe, we have been invited to cry out to him in prayer “Abba, Father”.
During the week of November 16th – 20th, the sanctuary will be transformed into a prayer chapel. The atmosphere will be set so that you can slow down, unwind, meditate on Scripture, listen to the Holy Spirit, and pray.
Every morning from 8:00-10:00 am (with the exception of Wednesday morning) and every evening from 6:00-8:00 pm you can come, pick up a prayer guide at the main entrance in the narthex, and stay for as little or as long as you desire. Wednesday evening childcare will be available from 6:00–8:00 pm. Individuals, couples, families, small groups, and school classes have all participated in the past.
We are making this COVID friendly. If you haven’t felt comfortable coming to church in person, this is the perfect opportunity to come. You don’t want to miss out on it this year.
