Brandon was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He says that when not in school or playing sports, he was at church and by God's grace has never known a day when he did not believe that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. He was first exposed to reformed theology by his youth director, who later went on to become an RUF minister. From an early age he had a desire to be a pastor, and over the years this calling was confirmed through his experiences and by the people who knew him best. While in seminary, he met and married his wife, Robyn, who is from Mexico, Missouri.

After graduating in 2009, they accepted a call from Seven Rivers Church where Brandon has been ministering as part of the Pastoral Team for the past 14 years. He says his time at SRC has been a blessing beyond anything he could have ever imagined.

Brandon says he is passionate about the gospel of grace and believes that the church of Jesus Christ is the hope of the world. He is currently in a season of life where he feels that God has called and equipped him to exercise his gifts as a Senior Pastor.

A PERSONAL NOTE

The church I grew up in was very similar to Seven Rivers. As a child, I sat in the pews and imagined what it would be like to lead such a congregation as the Senior Pastor. Proverbs 16:9 says, “The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Never could I have dreamed that the Lord would one day fulfill that internal calling by bringing me to Citrus County, Florida. From day one we have been loved on and supported by you. We have rejoiced with you, cried with you, hoped with you, raised our kids with you, done life with you. We love you. You are our family, a forever part of our story. You have cheered me on as a growing preacher and shown me grace in my failures. And I would not be the pastor I am today without Ray Cortese, Adam Jones and the rest of our amazing, talented, and godly church staff. Seven Rivers and Citrus County have become one of my absolute favorite places in the whole world. God has been doing an incredible gospel work in both our church and school from the very beginning, and I am confident he will continue that work in the years to come (Philippians 1:6). This is Jesus’ bride, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against her (Matthew 16:18). We are right in the middle of our most recent vision campaign, “Let’s Go.” I am honored, humbled, and excited to be nominated as your next Senior Pastor and go on this new adventure together. Let’s Go! Soli Deo Gloria (to the glory of God alone)!
