This year’s Summer Conference speaker is Robert Cunningham, Robert Cunningham is the founder and director of Christ for Kentucky. Robert is the former Senior Pastor of Tates Creek Presbyterian Church, where he served for seventeen years. He is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary and a current Ph.D. candidate at the University of Leicester, researching the role of religion in America's founding era. He has been a regular contributor for the Lexington Herald-Leader and the religion and culture commentator for Kentucky Sports Radio. His writings and work have been featured in Christianity Today, WORLD Magazine, and the New York Times. Robert and his wife Abby have four sons—Holt, Charlie, Owen, and Henry. He is a native Kentuckian, and Christ for Kentucky was born out of an undying love for his home.
Nursery care is provided for children ages 0-2. Each evening during our Summer Conference, kids K3 - Grade 5, will enjoy fun lessons, songs, and activities planned just for them! Our student ministry will host a slip 'n slide for all ages on Sunday evening.
After the conference on Sunday night, July 12, there will be a dinner and a fire truck slip 'n slide. The cost for dinner is $8 per person, with a $32 family cap. Pay at the door. Make your reservation here.
After the conference on Monday night, July 13 we are hosting a carnival complete with food trucks (OMG Pretzel Bites, Kona Ice, and more!), a bounce house and blow-up slide, popcorn, balloons, facepainting, and a dunk tank for kids and families to enjoy.
