As you may have heard by now, on Wednesday night Jake Steel ended his courageous fight with Leukemia and Jesus took him home. We are mourning with the Steels, and reminding ourselves of the promises of God in the face of death.

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.”
-1 Thessalonians 4:13

“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”
-2 Corinthians 5:8

In memory of Jake we are reposting this video from last Easter. Please be praying for this sweet family.

There are two peaceful protests planned in our community this weekend.

Inverness: Friday, 12:00-2:30 pm
Crystal River: Sunday, 2:00 pm

If you missed yesterday's webinar from the PCA (our denomination) on Racial Brokenness in America and Our Gospel Response, the recording can be found here:

Camp Seven Rivers is amazing! We're not exaggerating, God has caused something really remarkable to become a staple in our community for the last decade. 2019 was the biggest year yet, but with the Coronavirus and reopening we were not sure what the response would be for a shortened camp that starts in about four weeks. Well, every week is already maxed out!

Our camp crew is excitedly getting ready to welcome these boys and girls (Preschool – 5th grade) with lots of love and fun. Many of you have already generously given to camp for this summer, but we are looking to be able to offer help to 50 more campers who are signed up and waiting to hear back about financial aid. Will you prayerfully consider providing a scholarship for a child to attend one week of camp?

$100 pays for 1 week of camp for 1 child. Our goal is to scholarship 50 campers by raising $5,000. Click on the button below and help us make Camp Seven Rivers 2020 the best (certainly the most memorable) summer ever!
