Our Speakers: Ruthie and David Delk
Ruthie
Ruthie grew up in Europe as a missionary kid and met her husband David while at Furman University, where she graduated with a degree in Special Education. Currently, her personal ministry revolves around working with young moms and women through their church. Through bible studies, small groups and teaching opportunities, her passion is to help women embrace the Gospel in such a way that it captures their hearts and not just their minds. She enjoys watching movies, drinking sweet tea, riding her bike and eating any assortment of cheap chocolate. Ruthie and David have been married since 1988 and live in Greenville, SC. They have three grown children, five grandchildren, and are currently enjoying their empty nest!
David
David Delk is the author and co-author of six books, including No Man Left Behind, The Marriage Prayer, and Dad in the Mirror. Together, these books have sold over 150,000 copies.
David has also been the keynote speaker for more than 250 businesses and churches across America.
David currently serves as a fractional COO and operational consultant for businesses in the upstate of South Carolina. As CEO of Man in the Mirror and then as Executive Pastor of Grace Church, David has dealt with the myriad of operational issues that come with a large staff and fast growth. After graduating with a math degree from Furman University, David spent several years as a software consultant with large public utilities.
For the last two decades, David has led Senior Executive Roundtables and mentored young business leaders using a cohort-based process.
David is an avid reader and can often be found on his road bike roaming the rural roads northeast of Greenville.
